Our Family
My family and I recently (within the past year) moved to Grand Rapids, MI from Flagstaff, AZ. Our family consists of myself, my husband J and our two boys… S and E, and also our dog Shelby. (As you can see I am only using letters for names to maintain some anonymity for my family members, as well as simplicity in writing [although I might splash their faces around, their names will stay minorly hidden], the dog however doesn’t mind fame – you can see her photo bombing through the screen door.) Our move has taken us away from family and familiarity, which seems redundant when you look at the root word, -anyways- and we are attempting to take one day, one week and occasionally one month at a time to acquaint ourselves with our new surroundings… which includes local foods.

hahaha – a friend asked why we were all wearing green, and why there was a bucket on the baby’s head. We are all wearing green because this photo was taken on St. Patties day… that isn’t a bucket on E’s head, it is a speedo hat that acts as “sunscreen”…
